Unstable Unicorns: A kickstarter Project

Make room for the newest most fun card game funded on Kickstarter, Unstable Unicorns. A strategic card game that will destroy your friendships... but in a good way!

The game is currently being shipped out to backers, and also now available through their website. 

The rules are very simple, Collect 7 unicorn cards to win. There are cards that other players can use to stop you from collecting the other unicorns, and there are other cards that have in-game effects which affect your play style. 

The $50 tier is the most complete set of cards you will have. It comes with 3 expansions, a small set of kickstarter special edition cards (which you unlock by being a backer and reaching stretch goals) and an NSFW deck. 

With all cards combined, you wouldnt be able to fit them in one box, however, if you omit the NSFW version and only keep the original deck with the expansion sets, it all should be able o fit snugly. Keep the NSFW cards separate in case you want a quick clean game with kids and family. 

What is a little odd about my combined deck of cards is that the backs of the base game is in color black, while the expansion sets have white colored backs with black borders. 

For the game, each person gets to have a steps guide. To easily find the baby unicorn cards to start the game, look for the white backs. Also no...  you dont need to be drunk or wasted to play the game, but it is REALLY fun when you start to get the hang of it. When you start to destroy cards also is when it starts to become frustrating and start attacking other player's stables. Its fun, and there is quite a bit of reading involved, but it can get pretty intense. 

if you look at the expansion sets, just like Cards Against Humanity, you can tell what edition the cards are by how many cards there are on the lower right corner. The same is somewhat similar for Unstable Unicorns. 

If you look at the lower right corner of each card, there is a partial colored star indicating which cards are in the same expansion pack. You can also omit the theme if you feel like you want to tighten up the gameplay a little more. 

Each expansion kit has between 25-30 cards, and can be purchased at a later time on their site of you want to add more silliness to it.
