Until the end of the year at 8552 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood, CA 90069, you will be able to visit the Google Pop-up. There, you will be able to play with their newest and soon-to-be released products in their made by google store.
The Daydream VR experience was the most fun experience. It is very comfortable and lightweight to wear, and you get to play some of their VR games on the spot. Dont worry - someone will be there to help you with how to use it - which isnt complicated at all, just dont trip or hurt yourself.
Hold off on the Project Fi questions though. Their staff is briefed for Verizon, but the best place to get help for Project Fi is thru their help page. There are also other events in between at the same venue, sign up, RSVP and stay tuned for more.
The event is available to everyone and is open daily from 10am to 8pm and will last until the end of the year. Just walk in and create your own experience.
I've always been curious about their new Pixel 2 phones. Although, I would have loved to see and experience the predecessor, so I make a better judgement if its worth jumping out of my Nexus 6 to either phone.
Google's Buds that were on display were for the look and feel for the anticipated tech. Im personally not a fan of the design because it has to be worn to a specific side. The cable which holds them together feel pretty durable and the circuitry is braided into a carbon-fiber like formation for durability.
